During the past 27 years, Ho Chi Minh City Open University has been constantly innovating to adapt to the development of society. Through the application of modern advanced technologies in teaching and investing in infrastructure to provide maximum support in improving students&#8217; self-studying abilities, the university has adopted the online training method. On April 2, 2017, the university held the opening ceremony of Online Bachelor\u2019s Degree Program via distance learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/br>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony was attended by the representatives of businesses, School Board, departments and students of the online training of Ho Chi Minh City Open University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" src=\"http:\/\/develo.elo.edu.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/KG1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10376\" srcset=\"https:\/\/elo.edu.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/KG1-1.jpg 800w, https:\/\/elo.edu.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/KG1-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/elo.edu.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/KG1-1-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc &#8211; Rector of the university emphasized: &#8220;In order to catch up with the development trend of global education, the university has adopted online training methods. The emergence of this form of training has marked a great change in how Vietnamese people approach knowledge in the context of educational globalization. This training form will create many advantages for learners, enabling them to break barriers of space and time, study anytime and at any place, as long as they have a phone or computer connected to the Internet.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/br>\n\n\n\n<p>Ho Chi Minh City Open University is famous for taking the lead in distance education in Vietnam. Due to his job features, he can hardly arrange his time to attend face-to-face classes.
