MR. VU HUU DUC

Assoc. Professor – Ph.D. / Vice Principal

Having been conferred a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Accounting by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in 2002. He is currently the Vice Principal of HCMC Open University.

Mr. Duc is one of our school’s leading lecturers of Accounting – Auditing major. He has participated in scientific research and had a lot of articles published in prestigious journals such as Economics and Development, Science and Commerce, etc. Besides, Mr. Duc also has had many books published relating to Accounting and Finance.

MR. HO HUU THUY

Ph.D. / Dean of the Faculty of Accounting – Auditing

Having been conferred a Ph.D. in Accounting in 2015 by the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, England, Mr. Thuy used to work as Audit Director of AFC Vietnam Auditing Company before teaching at HCMC Open University.

Mr. Dien Van Chau

MSc / Deputy General Director of FAC Auditing Co., Ltd

Mr. Chau graduated from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City majoring in Banking – Accounting and gained a Master’s Degree in International Accounting – MinTA from the Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. He has spent many years in auditing career before becoming Deputy General Director of FAC Auditing Company.

Being a dedicated man in his career, Mr. Chau has studied a lot of courses relating to independent audit, especially the practical skills in audit documentation.

MS. LE THI THANH XUAN

MSc/Lecturer in charge of Auditing

Having graduated from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Xuan worked as a general accountant for some enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City from 1999 to 2007. She was the main auditor at AFC Auditing Company. In 2006, she gained a CPA certificate. From 2007 to 2011, Ms. Xuan taught at Van Lang University. She is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Accounting – Auditing in HCMC Open University.

MR. VU QUOC THONG

Ph.D. / Lecturer in charge of Accounting Information Systems

Mr. Thong gained a Master’s Degree in Business Information Systems from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia in 2006. He has trained computerized accounting for enterprises since 2007. He gained a Ph.D. in Business and Management (Accounting) from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in 2018.

Having gained a Master’s Degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in 2004, Ms. Thanh has had 9 years of experience in the Education and Training field. Having profound knowledge, she is currently one of the official teachers of HCMC Open University.

She has participated in scientific research and had some articles published in our university’s science journals.

MS. PHAM THI PHUONG THAO

MSc / Lecturer at the Faculty of Accounting – Auditing

Having been awarded a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance by the Unversity of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in 2011, Ms. Thao has had 8 years of experience in the Education and Training field. Having considerable knowledge, she is one of our professional lecturers. She has participated in scientific research and had some articles published in the university’s journal of science.

MS. LY NGUYEN THU NGOC

MSc / Lecturer at the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing

She acquired a Master’s Degree in Accounting by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in 2010. She is one of our official lecturers.

Her conception of life is “ The more you share, the more you receive. We should broaden our knowledge to contribute to our family and society. Being a young citizen of ASIAN Community in the integration period, I am always a dynamic and creative person and keeping on studying new things.”

Having been conferred a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance by HCM Open University in 2013, Mr. Ngoc has had more than 7 years of experience in the Education and Training field. He is currently our official lecturer with profound professional knowledge. He has participated in scientific research and had some articles published in the university’s journal of science.

Having been conferred a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in 2013, Ms. Hien was an auditor for AC Auditing and Consulting Company Limited from August 2008 to December 2013 and has a CPA Certificate. She is now a lecturer at the Faculty of Accounting – Auditing at HCMC Open University.

Ms. Trinh Thuy Anh

Assoc. Prof. Dr./ Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration

Having gained a Doctorate in Production Organization and Management by the University of Transport and Communications in 2006, Ms. She is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Administration – HCM Open University. Besides, Ms. Anh is also an advisor for many short-term training projects of domestic enterprises.


Ms. Anh is one of our leading lecturers thanks to her great knowledge. She has participated in the school’s scientific research and has some articles published in prestigious journals such as Economics and Development, Science and Commerce, etc. Besides, Ms. Anh has also written books about Management Study, Investment Project Analysis, Handbook of Project Management, and International Business.

Ms. Vu Viet Hang

Ph.D. / Official Lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Administration

Having been conferred a Doctorate in Economics by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in 2005, Ms. Hang is now an official lecturer at the Hanoi University of Technology, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and HCMC Open University.

Ms. Hang has presided over or participated in some scientific research topics relating to Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Distance Education. Moreover, many of her articles were published in prestigious journals such as Economics and Development, Economic Development, Labor, and Society, etc. Ms. Hang also did her internship in France and Canada. She can use Russian, French, and English competently in her professional work.

Mr. Cao Minh Tri

Ph.D./Head of International Business, Faculty of Business Administration

He gained a Doctorate in International Business from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand in 2010. He is currently a leading lecturer of International Business, the Faculty of Business Administration at HCMC Open University.

His scientific research has been published in some prestigious journals, such as Development and Integration, Industry and Trade, Asia-Pacific Economy, etc. In addition, he could use English competently in his professional work.

Mr. Tran Kim Viet Thang

MSc / lecturer at the Faculty of Business Administration

Mr. Thang gained a Master ’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston, Clear Lake, the USA in 2006. Having over 6 years of experience in the Education and Training field, she has profound knowledge. He is our official lecturer. Besides, Mr.Thang has also participated in scientific research and had many articles published in some prestigious journals.

Ms. Ngo Thi Phuong Anh

MSc / Lecturer at the Faculty of Business Administration

Ms. Anh gained a Master’s Degree in Marketing with honors from the University of Western Sydney, Australia. He has had 2 years of experience working in Australia and 5 years working in Vietnam in the business and service field. Furthermore, she has participated in teaching and doing scientific research at the university and Ministry levels. Ms. Anh also joins some Management Trainee Programs of big corporations in Vietnam and abroad such as Unilever, Rose Only One Group ( Australia )

Ms. Doan Thi Thanh Thuy

MSc / Lecturer at the Faculty of Busines Administration

Having been awarded a Master’s Degree in Business Administration by the Vietnam – Belgium Master Program of HCMC Open University in 2012, Ms. Thuy has had over 9 years of experience in the Education and Training field. Having deep professional knowledge, she is one of the official lecturers at our university. Besides, Ms. Thuy has also participated in doing scientific research and had some articles published in yearbooks of many big workshops.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy

Having gained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in 2013. Ms. Thuy is currently one of our official lecturers. She has participated in doing scientific research and had some articles published in the university’s journal of science. Ms. Thuy has also written teaching materials for internal use at HCMC Open University.

Ms. Nguyen Tran Cam Linh

MSc / Lecturer at the Faculty of Business Administration

Ms. Linh gained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Taiwan. From 2010 to 2013, Ms. Linh was a postgraduate specializing in Business Administration at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. She has given helpful guidance to students doing their scientific research.


Moreover, Ms. Linh also has done some scientific research at the university and national level. She is also the author of a lot of scientific articles, two books on Study Skills and Marketing Services ( For Internal Use at HCMC Open University ).

Having gained a Doctorate in Education and Language from La Trobe University – Australia, Ms. Nga has been a compiler of some books on linguistics such as English for Employment, Syntax, and Morphology, Semantics – Pragmatics, Phonetics – Phonology, etc. Besides, Ms. Nga has a lot of articles published in the university’s journal of science, and many scientific research topics at the school and ministry levels.

She has been teaching at the University of Can Tho and HCMC Open University since 1998. She once had an opportunity to study and do research in Netherlands in the Sandwich Program.

She has been a member of the Bar Association since 2005. Furthermore, she has been an Arbitrator of PIAC (Pacific International Arbitration Center) since October 2015.
