The training “Methods of managing the online program for the university’s administrators”
In order to improve the quality of management and online training services, the eLearning Center of Ho Chi Minh City Open University organized the training “Methods of managing the online training program for the university administrators,” at the Ho Hao Hon campus on November 23, 2018.
The guest of the program was Prof. Nita Temmerman, University of Queensland – Australia, former leader of prestigious organizations on online training in the world. In terms of the university’s participants, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Huu Duc – Vice-Rector of the university, Ph.D. Phan Thi Ngoc Thanh – Director of the eLearning Center, administrators of Faculties, Departments, and Centers of the university.
The training provided knowledge and skills on how to manage online training programs. Through discussions, the university’s administrators and Prof. Nita shared valuable experience in managing online training activities in countries around the world. After that, development orientations towards eLearning were introduced, contributing to realizing the goal of raising the quality of online training of the university.
The program came to an end well that afternoon. The training program formed an important basis for the implementation of online training activities of the University in the future.
Previously, on November 21 and 22, 2018, the training “Methods of Online Training for lecturers” was organized, aiming at improving the quality of online training programs. The focus of the program was on three issues, including factors affecting online teaching at Ho Chi Minh City Open University, principles for designing and building a standard online course, and some experience in Online teaching and learning.
