The entrance ceremony of the online bachelor distance learning program, course 02/2020: Begin enrolling enrollment students on a new major

On the morning of 5 July 2020, the eLearning Center of Ho Chi Minh City Open University (ELO) celebrated the entrance ceremony of the Online Bachelor’s Degree Program – 2nd course of 2020 at 97 Vo Van Tan St, Ward 6, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of Mr. Do Sa Ky – Party Committee Secretary and The Chairman of The University Council, Assos. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha – Rector, Dr. Phan Thi Ngoc Thanh – Director of eLearning Center, Mr. Pham Trung Kien – Vice Office Manager for Organization – Administration of VIAGS company, faculties’ deans, ELO staff and new students of course 02/2020.

The 14th entrance ceremony of the Online Bachelor’s Degree Program marked an important milestone in online education activities. This stage is the first enrollment season of The Online Bachelor’s Degree Program in Marketing. The new major is expected that meet the needs of all learners more thoroughly. The program content of the Online Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing includes all knowledge equivalent to that of the face-to-face undergraduate program of the same major. Moreover, the program ensures the practical orientation. The program helps learners to improve their knowledge and enhance their professional skills in the Marketing field.

At the entrance ceremony, Mr. Pham Trung Kien, Vice Office Manager for Organization Administration of VIAGS company, appreciated the program to provide the good qualities and values for laborers. He also expressed gratitude to Ho Chi Minh City Open University. Additionally, he desired the improvement and development of the online bachelor distance learning program for enhancing the quality of the labor force.

The entrance ceremony closed successfully, while this event marked the beginning of this course as well as the E-Learning Program development of Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
