HCMC Open University signed e-training with Tan Cang – STC
On the morning of 15/10/2019, HCMC Open University and Tan Cang – STC Human Resource Development Limited Company signed the agreement of training human resource in transporting operations, logistics, supply chain; science research, technology transfer, and conducting e-training courses.
Significantly, HCMC Open University will support and coordinate with Tan Cang – STC in transportation, logistics, supply chain. Therein, the school facilitates bachelor e-training courses for the staff of Tan Cang – STC. Simultaneously, both parties build and develop programs for training, improving the quality of human resource for Tan Cang – STC. Training programs include online short-term courses, training high-quality employees for employment in transportation, port, logistics, etc. Employees can exchange their training experience by exchange programs between lecturers, experts and interns, excursions, communications, etc.
At the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha – Rector of HCMC Open University stated that, “With the strengths in training, especially in e-Learing, we will design, build online courses suited to the practical requirement of Saigon Newport Corporation, the key unit in the port industry, providing logistics and maritime services in Vietnam.”
On behalf of the enterprise, Mr. Truong Tan Loc – Director of Tan Cang – STC stated that, “By the signing ceremony, Tan Cang STC in particular and the Corporation in general are willing to cooperate to access advanced training program as well as organizing experience and Vietnam’s leading modern infrastructure of HCMC Open University, in order to strongly deploy online training programs in the near future.”
In the ceremony, the school also awarded 5 scholarships worth VND 300 million to collective of officials and employees of the Company./.
